JACOB CASSON

Jacob Casson is a British financier working in private credit and media finance. He is the founder of MONET, the financial infrastructure for media and entertainment, and the founder of Casson Capital, a privately held investment office based on the Isle of Man.

His work centres on lending against contracted media cashflows: asset-based lending, receivables finance and gap finance for film, television and entertainment productions. Casson Capital has £9m deployed across its media portfolio, with equity taken opportunistically where the producers are known and the recoupment is clear.

Alongside investing, he advises producers on how productions are financed, structuring the budget, the recoupment and the mix of debt and equity, and serves as executive producer on selected projects.

MONET and Casson Capital are separate businesses with separate capital, aligned on the same industry. Casson Capital Limited is wholly owned by Casson Capital Holdings Limited.
